Who is Maul referring to when he says he lives?
Having narrowed our focus there, we can assume Darth Maul's cry of “He lives!” refers to Obi-Wan, who is, at this point in Star Wars history, secretly on the desert planet, watching over young Luke Skywalker from a distance. Since Obi-Wan lives, so does Maul's hope of revenge against him.
Maul dies in Obi-Wan's arms. A shocked Maul collapsed to the ground as Kenobi caught him. With his last breath, Maul asked Kenobi whether or not the person that he was guarding was the Chosen One. Kenobi confirmed that this was the case.
Why Darth Maul Believed That Luke Would Avenge Him And Not Just The Jedi. In Star Wars: Rebels, Maul's dying words carried an echo of hope. He hoped that Luke Skywalker would avenge Obi-Wan as well as him. This was because even though Maul and Kenobi were enemies, but they both had one common goal.
Working together, they managed to combine the two holocrons. Maul initially saw nothing but oblivion but Ezra saw twin suns. Maul also discovered that his old enemy, Obi-Wan Kenobi, was still alive.
He came to recruit the Padawan for another ritual, one that would finally reveal the answers they seek. Begrudgingly, the boy and his friends went with Maul to Dathomir, where Nightsister magick gifted them the knowledge that Obi-Wan Kenobi was alive, and he was on Tatooine. Finally, Maul was close to his revenge.
It soon became clear that Maul was indeed using Ezra and sought to have him as his apprentice, but was thwarted by Ezra's master, Kanan. Despite using him, Maul seemed to have a slight fondness for Ezra, expressing confidence in the boy's abilities and even saving his life twice.
At the end of their fated duel on Tatooine, a dying Maul asks Obi-Wan Kenobi if the person he protects – Luke – is the Chosen One.
Question: Did Maul know Sidious was Palpatine? In legends he did. In the darth plagueis novel I'm pretty sure there's a part where maul was reflecting on his master's political machinations and how he is publicly known as palpatine.
Morley was a male Anacondan scavenger who lived on Lotho Minor and was a servant to Darth Maul.
He wasn't labeled the chosen one and he wasn't the last hope in the galaxy. He may not have had the greatest teacher (although Kanan Jarrus, a survivor of Order 66, is not a bad mentor at all). Ezra doesn't even have big screen time.
What is Darth Maul's most famous line?
Always remember, I am hunter! Always remember, I am filth! Always remember, I am nothing!"
“Is it the chosen one?” Obi-Wan responds, “He is.” And Maul's last words are true to his lowly character, “He will avenge us.” To his last breath, Maul held onto anger.

Seeking to recruit Ezra as his apprentice, Maul convinced the boy to help him combine the two holocrons. While Maul saw glimpses of an old enemy and Ezra witnessed a world with twin suns, Maul's vision was incomplete because Kanan convinced Ezra to close his eyes.

Who was Qui-Gon Jinn's Master? Qui-Gon Jinn's Master was Count Dooku. The relationship between Dooku and his Padawan was largely built on respect, though Jinn often found it difficult to get a read on his Master.
The notable exception to this, however, is Darth Maul, whose real name has never been revealed, and most likely never will. Although Maul was largely wasted in The Phantom Menace and seemingly killed off unceremoniously at its climax, he was later revealed to have survived being bisected and falling down a vast shaft.
Yep. Darth Maul didn't really say or show straight up that he "feared" Darth Vader, but he openly stated his belief that he could not defeat Darth Vader without the help of the Jedi, therefore on his own.
Palpatine also never considered Maul a direct threat to his life (a one-sided battle between him and Maul in the Clone Wars series shows just how strong the Emperor is compared to his once-apprentice), and simply lost interest in him as time passed - proving how little Palpatine cared for anyone other than himself.
APD (Antisocial Personality Disorder.)
Maul has a classic case of antisocial personality disorder, which is an umbrella term for a sociopath and Psychopath.
They only referred to him as Jabba because they had no other name to assign this mystery person.
Did Maul consider himself a Sith?
Despite learning that his Master took a new apprentice, Darth Tyranus, Maul still believed that he was a Sith Lord. Taking his brother as an apprentice, Maul and Opress held that they were the true Sith rather than Sidious and Tyranus.
Though there was some debate that Anakin Skywalker's son, Luke Skywalker, was actually the Chosen One since he caused his father to destroy Darth Sidious, the debate was settled when George Lucas himself confirmed in an interview that Anakin, even after becoming Darth Vader, was still officially the Chosen One and not ...
George Lucas himself has stated that Anakin is the Chosen One and that the prophecy is true, although it had been misinterpreted by the entire Jedi Order. Lucas believes that both the dark side—greed— and the light side—compassion—are integral parts of human beings.
Did you know? In The Phantom Menace Darth Maul only blinks once (when he's cut in half) because the contact lenses made it uncomfortable for the actor Ray Park to blink while wearing them.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Maul, speaking about the Chosen One. The Chosen One is a legendary figure of Jedi prophecy foretold as being one who would destroy the Sith Order once and for all and bring balance to The Force.
Maul says that Skywalker is the key to everything. When Tano asks if it is to bring balance to the Force, Maul replies that Skywalker is the key to destroy and that he has long been groomed for his role as his master's new apprentice.
“Is it the chosen one?” Obi-Wan responds, “He is.” And Maul's last words are true to his lowly character, “He will avenge us.” To his last breath, Maul held onto anger. The final revelation burrows a pit in Obi-Wan's stomach. Years of conflict have come to an end.
